"PO delivered cane with no problem. It is a beauty and cannot thank you enough for the great workmanship."

-Ron

We specialize in hand carved sectional canes that break down for easy travel packing. We offer 2 section canes carved with a spiral swirl as well as 3 section slim line canes And yes, we are happy to carve solid one piece canes as well. Our canes come standard fitted with a metal ferrule for added strength covered with a black rubber replaceable tip . We also offer a convertible tip comprised of a sharp stainless steel spike embedded and epoxied in the bottom, surounded by a brass ferrule and covered with a removable rubber tip that has a threaded aluminum sleeve. We also offer custom made leather satchels for our sectional canes as well as removable wrist straps. Our accessories are shown lower on this page. Our sectional canes are constructed using machined brass joins. On the 2 section carved canes, these joins are counter sunk into te ends so the sections join wood on wood with the brass unseen.

All our canes are available in a wide range of wood species, both domestic and exotic, such as Black Walnut, Black Cherry, Mahogany, Teak, Oak and many more.

The height of a cane is a very personal choice. However, we have found a comfortable height for most people is the distance between the wrist and the floor, while the arm is held straight by the users side, and the floor. The user should wear normal footwear while taking a measurement.

One-Piece Carved

Our one piece hand carved canes are available in three styles; Our 'fancy' style, which has a spiral from top to bottom with an additional groove of about 1/4" along the edge of the spiral to highlight the swirl. Our 'swirl' style, which has the spiral swirl hand carved from top to bottom but without the additonal highlight groove. Our 'basic' style has no carving. The shaft is round and tapered from top to bottom.

The handle is straight and round and is installed at a slight angle to comfortably fit the palm. Because the whole palm is in contact with the handle the grip is secure.

Our leather satchels, alternate tips and removable wrist straps are shown lower on this page.

Two-Piece Carved

Our 2 piece hand carved canes are similar to our one piece canes described above. The primary difference is they come apart for easy travel packing. To make the connection, machined brass joins are installed in each end. As the brass joins are counter sunk in the ends, the connections is wood on wood. This provides for a stronger joint and clean lines; it looks like a one piece when together.

The handle is straight and round and is installed at a slight angle to comfortably fit the palm. Because the whole palm is in contact with the handle the grip is secure.
